OUR NEW FACILITY
Fun With Mandarin has established a new facility located nearby at 327 Capitol Avenue in San Francisco. The facility is almost entirely brand-new and was designed by experts and architects with expertise in designing child care centers/preschools. The new facility offers endless possibilities for enriching the kids' lives and the FWM community.
The indoor and outdoor environments are spacious and breath-taking and offer endless possibilities in their role in supporting the children's development.
The facility conveys a strong feeling of openness and brightness, that includes a large downstairs classroom level, an upstairs classroom level (with the indoor play structure) and a separate circle time room. The outdoor space includes a full side yard playground that is the size of an entire property lot itself and a large rear yard that is located behind the indoor facility. The outdoor spaces are set up to provide a lot of space for free movement, dramatic and social play, and experiences with nature and gardening and we are continuing to look at ways to enhance them further.
The outdoor and indoor spaces are each larger than 3,000 square feet.
Although many child care centers and preschools are not able to provide lunch, Fun With Mandarin's facility has a full-sized kitchen that is equipped to allow us to continue to provide healthy, hot lunches and snacks.
The strikingly beautiful, safe, and remarkably functional furniture comes from the best preschool furniture maker in the country, Community Playthings, and even includes an indoor play structure that has been a special delight for the children.
Getting there fast: 327 Capitol Avenue is located conveniently off of all the freeways (280, 101, or 19th Avenue), right down Broad Street or San Jose Avenue, streets that are easy to pass through quickly, even in rush hour because they are less affected by rush hour traffic. The facility is located near Ocean Avenue, City College, and H-Mart.
